What to Expect

How a Sunday morning actually goes.

Nothing here will surprise you. This is the whole morning, start to finish.

Pull in and park.

We are at 20774 County Rd 12 S. The lot wraps all the way around the building, so park wherever there is room. There is no reserved visitor parking to hunt for.

Come in the front doors.

Use the front doors under the portico, facing the road. Somebody will be standing there. They will hand you a bulletin and walk you wherever you need to go.

Sunday School at 9:30.

Classes run 9:30 to 10:15, grouped by age, nursery on up through adult. If you would rather skip it your first week and just come at 10:30, that is completely normal.

Morning service at 10:30.

We sing a few hymns out of the hymnal, led from the piano. Then the pastor preaches out of the King James Bible. You will be out around 11:30.

Sit wherever you like.

Nobody has an assigned pew. Sit near the back if that is more comfortable, and leave when you need to. No one will stop you or single you out.

Straight Answers

What you will and will not find.

What to expect

  • Preaching straight out of the King James Bible
  • Hymns, sung by the whole church
  • Sunday School classes for every age
  • Background-checked workers in every children’s class
  • People who will notice you came and be glad about it

What you won't find

  • Pressure to give. We do not expect that from a visitor.
  • A dress code you have to figure out
  • Contemporary worship, a band, or stage lights

What should I wear?

Most of our men wear a collared shirt and slacks, and most of our ladies wear a dress or a skirt. Plenty of people come in jeans and nobody looks twice. Wear what you have and come on.

Do I have to give money?

No. An offering plate goes around during the service and we do not expect a visitor to put anything in it. Just pass it along.

He preaches the Bible with conviction and he will sit down with anybody who needs to talk. Brenda works alongside him, mostly with the ladies and the children.

See this year’s adventure

If you would rather keep your children with you in the service, that is completely fine and nobody will ask you about it.

Every worker in our children’s classes and our nursery is background checked. If you want to ask about anything else before you leave your child with us, call the church and ask for a pastor: (251) 943-0940.

Plan Your Visit

Tell us you are coming.

You do not have to do this — you are welcome to just show up. But if you tell us first, somebody will be watching for you at the door, and we can have your children’s classes ready before you walk in.

Need a ride?

We run bus routes around Foley. Mention it in the notes and we will tell you if one comes near you.

We will not add you to a mailing list, and nobody will show up at your door.
